NPHS Raises Over $317,000 at 35th Anniversary Gala to Build Housing Stability for Inland California Families
The Making Home Happen Gala supports homebuyer grants, financial education, and stable housing across the Inland Empire and Surrounding Counties
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (Oct. 27, 2026) Neighborhood Partnership Housing Services (NPHS) raised over $317,000 at its 35th Anniversary Making Home Happen Gala on Friday, Oct. 16, at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium. The funds will help create housing stability for families and communities across the Inland Empire and surrounding counties.
Guests gathered to celebrate 35 years of helping neighbors find homes they love, and to invest in what comes next. U.S. Bank served as presenting sponsor. City National Bank presented the Generational Wealth Building Fund, which provides homebuyer grants to help families take the step into homeownership.
“The foundation for life starts at home. When a family has a safe, affordable place to live, kids do better at school, parents build savings, and neighborhoods grow stronger. Our community showed up Friday night and said every family deserves that chance. We are deeply grateful.”
Clemente Mojica, President and CEO
Gala support helps NPHS:
- Connect more families to safe, affordable housing
- Provide homebuyer grants through the Generational Wealth Building Fund
- Offer financial and home buying education
- Help seniors maintain and care for their homes
NPHS has served the inland California region since 1990. The gala marked a milestone and set the course for the years ahead. Over 35 years, the nonprofit evolved from a neighborhood housing organization into an innovative community development enterprise. Beyond individual solutions, NPHS today seeks to reshape the systems that determine access to housing and opportunity through innovative solutions such as factory-built housing, community land trusts, financial and homebuyer education, down payment assistance, wildfire resilience, and policy advocacy.
But the heart of NPHS’ work remains the same: the families and individuals whose lives are transformed by access to a safe, stable place to call home.
“For 35 years, NPHS has stayed focused on one idea. Everyone deserves a safe, affordable home and a better future. This gala showed how many people share that belief. I am proud of this team, and grateful to every sponsor, donor, and guest who stood with us.”
