Emergency Wildfire Preparedness Retrofit Program
Resilience Now provides up to $5,000 in financing for income-eligible homeowners who have received notifications from their homeowners insurance company that they must make necessary Wildfire Preparedness Retrofits to their homes. The program provides financing for homeowners to make the immediate repairs required by their homeowners insurance company. The loan is repayable over five years, offering an affordable repayment schedule for borrowers. Resilience Now helps protect homeowners from the increased risks of wildfires by ensuring their homes meet safety standards. The Resilience Now financing may help prevent policy cancellations and supports homeowners in maintaining their insurance coverage while enhancing their property’s resilience against climate-related threats.
