Union Bank Grants $35,000 to NPHS in Support of its Sustainable Housing Project
NPHS was awarded $35,000 to support the Sustainable Housing Project. The Sustainable Housing Project utilizes five innovative core strategies for revitalizing neighborhoods: (1) developing factory-built housing and Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) (2) providing critical home repairs, accessibility modifications and green building upgrades to homes in targeted low-income neighborhoods throughout the Inland Empire (3) providing comprehensive homeownership education to low-to-moderate income families (4) providing homeownership preservation counseling to prevent foreclosures and (5) providing down payment assistance to low-income homebuyers. These core strategies work together to revitalize distressed neighborhoods, prevent blight, promote sustainable homeownership at a regional scale, while implementing green building practices.
NPHS is grateful for Union Bank’s continued support. On behalf of all the families that will benefit from this investment, we thank you.
